About Me
- Name: portland international house of prayer
- Location: Portland, Oregon, United States
When some friends of a paralytic man heard that Jesus was IN THE HOUSE, they did everything they could to get their friend into his presence. They even took off the roof of a house and lowered him in on a mat, most likely strung up with ropes of some sort. All this after fighting their way through a standing room only crowd that flooded out of that house Jesus occupied. The friends did this for two reasons. One, they had a great love for their friend. Two, they knew that only Jesus could heal him. In the House Ministries exists for two reasons. One, we love the city of Portland. Two, we know that only Jesus can heal this land.

A Shift In the House....May 7th
On Monday, May 7th, as the director of the Portland House of Prayer, I will share with those present what I believe is a major shift. Through many meetings with the board of directors, local church leaders and a small representative of house of prayer team members, as well as through much prayer and a searching of my own heart, I have reached a place of clearer direction and sense that a new season for this ministry is at hand.
Would you please make every effort to join us on May 7th? Anyone is welcome to come--those who have been involved over the years, as well as those who are just learning that a House of Prayer exists in Portland! We will begin with a short time of worship to help focus our hearts and then move immediately into sharing with you the vision, followed by a time for questions and prayer. My hope is that you will find this "shift" is not a new or strange thought, but rather simply a return to the beginning...a "re-envisioning", if you will.
The meeting will begin promptly at 7pm at Sylvan Hill Church. We will do our best to end no later than 9:30pm. Sylvan Hill Church is located on Humphrey Blvd, take the Sylvan Hill exit off of Hwy 26 and head south, take the first left and the church is on top of the hill!
Please contact me if you have any questions.
