In the House Ministries exists to train, encourage and equip the body of Christ in the areas of prayer, worship, evangelism, prophetic, ministry to the poor, spiritual warfare and the creative arts. The Downtown House of Prayer is established to provide 24/7 worship and prayer for the city of Portland, Oregon. This blog is just for fun, but perhaps over time it will provide some insight and stimulate discussion surrounding the above areas.

Fire in the Night/Location Change!


Fire in the Night
Friday June 24th
6pm-6am
Calvary Temple
10224 SE Division St
(across from the big Christian Supply, take Division St off of I-205, go east, the church is just a couple of blocks from the freeway on the right)
We encourage you to stay through the night with us but you may come and go as you are able
All are welcome to join us. Prayer and Worship will be facilitated by the Portland Downtown House of Prayer and various local churches

we are doing 12hrs of prayer and worship on July 22nd with some friends on the westside. Then our next two 48hrs are scheduled for July 28-30 and Aug 19-21. More info will be posted here soon. Sorry you missed us at Calvary! I am not sure when we will be back there for an extended prayer time, although we do meditation there every Monday morning from 9-11am....meditating right now on the Song of Solomon.
