In the House Ministries exists to train, encourage and equip the body of Christ in the areas of prayer, worship, evangelism, prophetic, ministry to the poor, spiritual warfare and the creative arts. The Downtown House of Prayer is established to provide 24/7 worship and prayer for the city of Portland, Oregon. This blog is just for fun, but perhaps over time it will provide some insight and stimulate discussion surrounding the above areas.

48hrs

God is calling a people who will worship Him in spirit and in truth. He is looking for those who will execute true justice, show mercy to the poor, walk not according to the flesh but according to the spirit….

God is calling a people of creativity forth in this hour to write, to play, to create,
to invent, to use the gifts given for Kingdom purposes….

God is calling the generations to come together
on behalf of the land…that the hearts of the fathers would return to the
children and the hearts of the children to
the fathers….

God is asking a question:

Who will stand in the gap?
Who will partner with Me in this hour?
Who is willing to lose their life that in the end they may gain it?

ANSWER THE CALL…..

BE THE REASON THAT GOD MAKES HIMSELF KNOWN IN THIS CITY

you are welcome to come and go as you are able to. sessions will vary by the hour. lots of space for creativity. some art supplies will be available. post your prayers on the walls. bring a friend. a few of our "harp and bowl times" will be from 11am-1pm and 7pm-10pm each day. give it a try, check out something new!
